Dr. Rama Nand Malviya: A Distinguished Leader in Library and Information Science, he is the Founding University Librarian and Proctor at Rishihood University, a role in which he brings over 35 years of expertise in library management, academic administration, and research. He holds a Ph.D. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, and an impressive array of qualifications, including an M.A. in Economics, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS). Prior to joining Rishihood University, Dr. Malviya held several prestigious positions, including Chief Librarian at Sushant University, Gurgaon, and University Librarian at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, His professional journey also includes serving at esteemed institutions such as the Indian Social Institute, the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), and the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), all in New Delhi. He has been instrumental in setting up specialized libraries and information centers across organizations, further demonstrating his leadership in the field. Dr. Malviya has authored 22 books, contributed over 82 research papers to peer-reviewed journals, and published numerous book chapters and bibliographies. He has also served as a keynote speaker, session chair, and rapporteur at national and international conferences. Currently, he is the President of the Library Professional Association, a member of key library associations, and a visiting professor and Ph.D. guide at multiple universities. His contributions to academia and the library profession have established him as a leading figure in the field.
Prof. (Dr.) Sampadananda Mishra: A Celebrated Sanskrit Scholar, a distinguished Sanskrit scholar from Odisha, is widely recognized for his expertise in Sanskrit grammar and his dedication to promoting Sanskrit as a living language. He was honored with the prestigious Maharishi Badrayan Vyas Samman for Sanskrit in 2012, conferred by the then President of India, Pratibha Patil. In 2018, his literary contributions earned him the Sahitya Akademi Bala Puraskar for his acclaimed work Shanaih Shanaih: A Book of Rhyming Songs in Sanskrit. Dr. Mishra's scholarship bridges classical Sanskrit knowledge with modern perspectives, fostering a contemporary appreciation for India's linguistic and cultural heritage. His passion for Sanskrit has made significant strides in showcasing its relevance in the modern era, inspiring scholars, students, and enthusiasts to explore its richness. Through his work, Dr. Mishra continues to uphold and celebrate India's ancient linguistic traditions.
Mr. Madhavendra Abhinandan: A Dedicated Library Professional and Scholar, is an accomplished Assistant Librarian at Rishihood University, Sonipat, Haryana. Hailing from Nalanda, Bihar-home to one of the world's earliest centers of knowledge he embodies the spirit of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity. Inspired by the legacy of Nalanda, Mr. Abhinandan has dedicated himself to advancing education, research, and innovation in library and information science. With a rich academic foundation, he holds multiple degrees, including B.Com, M.Com, M.A. in Rural Development, BLIS, MLIS, and postgraduate diplomas in areas like PGDCA, PGDLAN, PGDIPR, and PGDET. He has played a significant role in organizing international conferences, workshops, and webinars, fostering knowledge exchange among scholars. His research contributions, including peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, underline his active engagement in advancing the field. Specializing in library automation tools like Koha and digital repository systems such as Dspace, Mr. Abhinandan has successfully led numerous automation projects in academic institutions. Before joining Rishihood University, he served as Senior Librarian at a college under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science, Mr. Abhinandan's dedication to integrating technology with traditional knowledge systems reflects his commitment to evolving library services to meet contemporary academic needs.
Mr. Neelabh Kumar Sharma: A Dedicated Scholar in Indian Knowledge Systems, a Research Associate at Rishihood University, holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi. His academic pursuits center on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and their societal applications. His research encompasses diverse projects such as the Integral Humanism Initiative, Avadhanakala and Consciousness Studies, Robotics in Ancient India, and Sanskrit Literature for Children. With a keen interest in examining the intersections of religion, culture, and gender, Mr. Sharma's work reflects a thoughtful approach to addressing complex societal challenges.
